TEDI is a youth-led nonprofit that uses evidence to improve education quality in Tanzania. They envision an innovative young generation driving development and competing globally. Their mission contributes to developing education quality by promoting active learning and integrating practical elements. TEDI integrates digital literacy, employability, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy programs to prepare underprivileged youths for economic competence in Tanzanian and global markets.

Gloria Anderson is the Founder and Executive Director of Tanzania Enlightenment Development Innovations (TEDI), a nonprofit dedicated to improving education and reducing youth unemployment in Tanzania. TEDI’s programs in Digital Literacy, Employability, and Entrepreneurship have benefited over 20,000 youth by bridging academic theory with practical skills. Its flagship project, """"One Computer Lab, One School,"""" has equipped public schools with computer labs, training 200+ teachers and 15,000+ students in e-learning, expanding digital access in underserved areas.

A 2021 Mandela Washington Fellow, Gloria holds a Master’s in Marketing Management from Mzumbe University and has studied Public Management at Syracuse University and Leadership at Drexel University. She has represented Tanzanian youth at global forums across four continents.

Recognized as a 2022 Africa Evidence Leadership Award recipient and 2023 Global Youth Leader by the World Youth Development Forum in China, Gloria champions quality education and human capacity development as drivers of economic growth.
