Areas of Focus
Sheer Love Rwanda, founded in 2017, empowers vulnerable children, particularly former street children, through education, mentorship, and family support. They provide scholarships, leadership development, and life skills training to help children excel academically and socially. Their learning center offers library access and computer literacy. They also support families with financial independence tools, building communities where every child can thrive and pursue their dreams.

Cohort Year
Alexis Amani Simbayobewe, a Southern New Hampshire University graduate and alumnus of the Watson Institute semester accelerator program (Fall 2021), leads Sheer Love Rwanda with passion and purpose. Having endured five years living on the streets, Alexis is deeply committed to transforming the lives of vulnerable children.
A proud father of twin babies and a caregiver to three adopted children, Alexis's family embodies his values. They believe that community development begins by offering opportunities to children from families where education is not a norm. These children often become the first generation to attend school, breaking the chains of poverty for their families.
Sheer Love Rwanda creates pathways for street children to access education, reintegrate with their families, and dream of a brighter future, inspiring transformative change in Rwanda.
