Founded in 2015, Rwanda We Want Organization (RWW) is a youth-led NGO committed to empowering young people in Rwanda to become pillars of sustainable peace and development. Guided by the vision of fostering a critical-thinking youth capable of shaping policies for a peaceful and prosperous future, RWW has impacted over 8,000 young people across seven districts.

Colbert Rulinda is a Rwandan youth activist dedicated to empowering young people and fostering peace, unity, and resilience. Born in the aftermath of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi and shaped by its effects, he channels his experiences into impactful initiatives that promote sustainable development.

In 2015, alongside other fellow youth, Colbert co-founded Rwanda We Want (RWW), a youth-led organization with a mission to empower Rwandan youth as pillars of peace and development. As Executive Director, he has guided RWW in empowering over 8,000 young people across Rwanda through programs on national identity, peacebuilding, and sexual and reproductive health.

A staunch advocate for mental health, Colbert has led educational campaigns to raise awareness about the transmission of genocide legacies among younger generations. His unwavering commitment to building a united and prosperous Rwanda continues to inspire transformative change in his community.
