Mago Hasfa is an author, a social innovator, literacy specialist, and founder of the Read to Learn Foundation and Book Drive Store, organizations dedicated to improving literacy outcomes and empowering communities across Africa. Mago has authored over 30 culturally relevant African children’s storybooks, impacting more than 35,000 children in Uganda, Ghana, and Cameroon.Under her leadership, the Read to Learn Foundation has trained over 250 literacy champions, established grassroots literacy programs, and introduced innovative solutions such as the SOMA App, an AI-powered edutech tool bridging literacy gaps in underserved communities. Mago’s work aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on quality education, gender equality, and poverty alleviation. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and certifications in early literacy development and family engagement. Mago is passionate about education, inclusivity, and sustainable impact.
