Ebenezer Calist Mlay is a passionate advocate for open knowledge, digital literacy, and community development. As the founder and director of Open Knowledge Tanzania, Ebenezer has spearheaded initiatives to promote access to free knowledge and digital empowerment across Tanzania. In 2019, he established Wikimedia Arusha, a thriving community of volunteers contributing to Wikimedia projects, with a focus on bridging knowledge gaps and encouraging youth engagement.

With a strong commitment to knowledge sharing and digital inclusion, Ebenezer continues to lead efforts that connect local communities to global open knowledge movements, driving impact through collaboration and innovation.
