Nyara Youth Development is a community-driven non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of youth in Nyara Villages, Eastern Cape. The organization addresses educational, social, and economic challenges by creating inclusive, empowering opportunities for youth and families. Rooted in the local community, Nyara Youth Development works to ensure that young people have access to the support, skills, and resources needed to build brighter futures. Its mission centers on holistic youth development—recognizing that lasting change requires addressing the interconnected barriers that young people face across multiple areas of their lives.

Originally from the Eastern Cape of SA, Robyn has a BA in Community Development and a Master’s in Development Education and Global Learning. She is a passionate and purpose-driven individual, committed to creating meaningful change. Her career spans over social impact, corporate and international development sectors. Robyn is the Founding Director of Nyara Youth Development, a dynamic non-profit organisation focused on uplifting and equipping rural youth with the skills and opportunities needed to thrive. To her, this work is more than a profession—it is a calling to serve, to uplift and to ignite change from the ground up.
