Makers Valley Partnership's model is centered on co-creation, local knowledge, and systems thinking to advance long-term, inclusive development within the inner-city neighborhoods of Makers Valley. Its vision is a wellbeing economy rooted in dignity, local ownership, and ecological sustainability.

Noluthando Mdayi is a South African changemaker and social innovator dedicated to advancing social, ecological, and economic wellbeing through community-driven initiatives. She co-leads Makers Valley Partnership, a non-profit organisation in Johannesburg that supports local resilience through creative enterprise, urban greening, and inclusive placemaking. With a background in media and civil society, Noluthando designs and implements programmes that centre collaboration, dignity, and sustainability. Her work blends storytelling, systems thinking, and grassroots leadership to foster long-term impact. She is also a 2025 Rise Up Leader, a Moleskine Foundation Creativity Pioneer, and a passionate advocate for community-led development.
