Kach-up Learning Hub is a Ugandan non-profit organization committed to establishing strong learning foundations for children across Uganda. The organization empowers teachers with the knowledge and skills to enhance foundational literacy and numeracy through engaging, play-based, and targeted teaching methods. Its holistic approach encompasses comprehensive teacher training, the provision of effective teaching and learning materials, and ongoing mentorship and support. By investing in educators, Kach-up Learning Hub works to ensure that every child has access to quality foundational learning and the opportunity to build skills needed for lifelong success.

Martha Ayikiriize is the Founder and Executive Director of Kach-up Learning Hub, an NGO dedicated to improving foundational literacy and numeracy in Uganda’s primary schools. Martha holds a Bachelor's degree in Development Economics, a PGD in Educational Planning and Management, and is a certified instructor for Teaching at the Right Level. Her experience as a Teach For Uganda fellow, where she taught 12-year-old P.5 students who couldn’t read, remains the foundation and motivation for her work in foundational learning. Martha is a 2024 D-Prize Education award recipient, a 2022 World Literacy Foundation Ambassador, and a 2022 UN-SDSN Global Schools Advocate.
