IWACU in Africa is a Rwanda-based organization advancing women's participation and leadership in the creative and media industries. The organization ensures that young women—particularly those in rural areas—gain access to training, mentorship, and opportunities that strengthen their economic independence. IWACU's mission is to cultivate talent, amplify women's voices, and dismantle barriers that limit participation in storytelling and creative production. Through strong partnerships and community-driven programs, IWACU is equipping a new generation of women to shape narratives, build sustainable creative careers, and contribute to a vibrant, inclusive cultural landscape.

Divine is the Founder and Executive Director of IWACU in Africa, a Rwanda-based organization expanding opportunities for underprivileged women in the creative and media industries. Since launching Iwacu in Africa in 2018, she has focused on equipping young women especially those in rural areas with skills in cinema, storytelling, and digital production to boost their economic participation and confidence. Her work focuses on removing barriers to access, fostering inclusive learning spaces, and building clear pathways for creative leadership. She partners with local and global institutions to amplify women's voices and ensure they are meaningfully represented across the creative landscape.
