Hope of Family is a Rwandan local NGO committed to reducing extreme family poverty through strong and efficient children's education. The organization empowers vulnerable families by ensuring every child has access to quality education and that parents are equipped to support their children's learning. Through a holistic model combining education, parental engagement, economic empowerment, and livelihoods, Hope of Family strengthens family stability and community resilience. By partnering with local authorities and development partners, it promotes inclusive, sustainable change in marginalized communities across Rwanda.

Augustin IYAMUREMYE NSHUTI is the Executive Director of Hope of Family, a local NGO based in Rwanda, and a Gratitude Network Fellow, Cohort 2024. With a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Statistics, he brings extensive experience in leadership, impact measurement, and program development. Augustin leads holistic initiatives supporting children and improving family livelihoods in marginalized communities across Rwanda. Known for his practical yet visionary leadership, he fosters partnerships with diverse stakeholders and cultivates a culture of learning and reflection. Passionate about education and empowerment, he works to scale Hope of Family’s model to provide every child and their family with a hopeful future.
