Susan Tusabe is an Educator, Forbes Africa woman 2023 for her track record in Uganda’s education sector. She is also a social entrepreneur, a Mandela Washington Fellow and the founder of Art of a Child -a nonprofit with a focus on providing quality, inclusive and equitable education to low served children in Uganda.
She also serves on the advisory board of Launch Girls-a U.S based non profit that uses Entrepreneurial and work-readiness mindsets and skills specifically to equip adolescent girls to take charge of their future and successfully transition from school to work.
Susan leverages her personal competencies and professional experience from both the public and private sectors to make young people's lives better.
Her passion for sharing knowledge with young people, early childhood development and the belief she has in their potential as a crucial building block to Africa’s development, led her to found Art of a Child.
Having led Art of a Child in constructing 2 community learning centers in rural Uganda, Susan plans to continue collaborating with communities to build stronger educational structures and provide more resources/opportunities for children with disabilities to have access quality education.
