We stimulate local trade in informal areas by building trust, capacity, and connections, to create new livelihoods opportunity where it is needed most.

Simon Barson has spent the last 10 years working in the non-profit and social enterprise space. Since graduating from Manchester Business School, he has focused his skills, energy, and passions on applying the best business practice to social good; from working for a charity that created economic empowerment opportunities for HIV-positive women to conducting research on third-generation biofuels as a potential for livelihood creation in rural China. The culmination of this passion has been founding and running the social enterprise, Word of Mouth.
