Founded in 2018, the African Sports Network (ASN) is a Social Enterprise that reduces inequalities and empowers African youth and women by increasing engagement and awareness in the sports industry through education. As part of ASN's mission, the organization is building a leading database for African sports to boost visibility and facilitate networking, transfers, new opportunities, jobs, skill building and mentorship.

Amy Wanday is a Kenyan social entrepreneur, international speaker, and women's advocate. Her overall purpose in life is to use her passions for sports, entrepreneurial leadership, education, and the youth to transform the African sports industry while at the same time empowering the youth to be focused, disciplined and innovative and to rise as young leaders.Amy was ranked 100 most influential Kenyans' in 2018 and has won the youth sports entrepreneur of the year award at the 2019 Kenya Youth Entrepreneurship Awards and was named the Arts, Sports and Culture Award Winner at the Top Women in Business Awards in 2019.
