WeareWISE is a one year leadership development program founded in 2015 by Lisa Issroff and the Issroff Family Foundation to provide smart, young women working in the social enterprise space with access to professional and personal growth opportunities. Over the course of the yearlong program, WeareWISE members attend monthly peer-led learning circles that cover a variety of topics selected by discussion leaders.

Community Conversations

Community Conversations are quarterly meetings that bring together WeareWISE members with mentors to discuss a variety of relevant topics for a community rooted in sharing and learning. Mentors work across multiple fields but share in common an interest in social enterprise and women empowerment.

Tri-State Area Africa Funders

The Tri-State Area Africa Funders is an informal group of like-minded funders, including individuals, foundations, corporations, and consultants based in the Tri-State area who fund throughout Africa. We gather together on a bi-monthly basis to learn and network together. The vision of the group is to increase capacity for engaged and thoughtful partnership by sharing and learning best practices about philanthropy and Africa in order to create a supportive community, and improve relationships with grantee partners and the sector in general.

IFF works closely with various organizations in the sector, including but not limited to the following:

Whether it’s social entrepreneurs, university faculty, impact investors, or business leaders, we work to catalyze the ability of emerging leaders with purpose to impact the world and drive social progress further, faster. For nearly 30 years, we have worked to find rare and exceptional emerging leaders, forge a community of global pioneers, and accelerate these leaders to impact the world.
