HOW WE FUND
The Foundation is currently only onboarding new partners as part of our Collaborative Learning Initiative cohort. The new Cohort begins in January 2022.
IFF partners with organizations that develop or empower youth by enhancing their capacity to take charge of their lives. These programs include a range of initiatives such as promoting entrepreneurship, providing access to education, and supporting cradle to career development.
TYPES OF SUPPORT
IFF provides both funding and capacity building support to our partners. Our capacity building support provides early stage organizations with resources in governance, leadership, resource development, strategy, strategic relationships, operations, mentorship, and program model. With some exceptions, our funding is provided through general support grants.
IFF is primarily focused on providing funding in Southern & Eastern Africa, and New York.
IFF funds programs that directly benefit children and youth in historically marginalized communities.
ORGANIZATION SIZE & TYPE
IFF strive to support organizations that are community based or locally led. We firmly believe that deep connection with the community is essential for positive and sustainable impact.
